Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Stir in oats and raisins until evenly distributed.
- Scoop dough (about 2 tablespoons per cookie) onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
