Maple Glazed Carrots with Thyme

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs carrots, peeled and cut into sticks or coinsMaple Glazed Carrots with Thyme

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions:

  1. Steam or boil carrots until just tender (about 8–10 minutes). Drain well.

  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.

  3. Add carrots and cook, stirring, until glazed and glossy (5–7 minutes).

  4. Sprinkle with fresh thyme before serving.

Tip: Add a pinch of cayenne or cinnamon for a festive twist.
